Heba Adat - Owner
The story of The Bridal Room begins in Heba Adat’s childhood, surrounded by a family with a deep love for fashion. She spent countless hours at her aunt’s house, flipping through bridal magazines and watching her aunt—a talented bridal gown designer—bring exquisite dresses to life. Her grandmother, a skilled seamstress known for her impeccable craftsmanship, further nurtured Heba’s appreciation for detail and design. These early inspirations planted the seed of a dream: to one day open her own bridal boutique.
In 2016, while working a full-time job, Heba took a leap of faith and brought that dream to life—opening The Bridal Room, a boutique built on passion, perseverance, and a genuine love for celebrating brides. Her mission was simple yet powerful: to create a one-of-a-kind experience where every bride feels not just beautiful, but truly seen, supported, and celebrated.
Navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship while balancing a career was no small feat—but Heba’s determination carried her through. Even during the unprecedented trials of the COVID-19 pandemic, she kept The Bridal Room thriving, adapting to serve brides with heart and flexibility during uncertain times. Today, Heba is proud that The Bridal Room that has been voted one of the top bridal boutiques in the DC area—a recognition that reflects her unwavering commitment to excellence and connection.
Building on that success, she expanded the boutique’s offerings to include evening wear and launched Soirée—a dedicated space for mothers of the bride and women seeking timeless, elegant attire for life’s special occasions. From the first fitting to the final walk down the aisle, Heba ensures every client’s journey is personal, memorable, and tailored to her unique style and story.
Kenzie - Operations Manager
Kenzie, the manager of The Bridal Room, brings over a decade of experience in Women's Retail, Lifestyle, and Bridal industries. She excels at providing elevated customer service and ensures that each bride enjoys an unforgettable and personalized shopping experience when they come to The Bridal Room. One of her greatest joys is witnessing brides fall in love with and feel their best in a gown that she helped personally select for the shop's collection. Kenzie’s love for fashion extends beyond bridal wear, as seen by her personal and curated collection of vintage, contemporary, and designer treasures. Outside of the boutique, Kenzie enjoys time with her nephew, avidly follows soccer, and indulges in the latest K-Dramas.
Mahdis - Sales Manager
After finding her dream wedding gown a year ago at The Bridal Room and loving her experience so much, she came back to find her dream career! Mahdis holds a master’s degree in Professional Writing, is cofounder and editor-in-chief of her own literary magazine Five on the Fifth, and recently published her debut novel, Death Has None. For nearly a decade, she was Managing Editor at various financial publications until she fell in love with the wedding and bridal industry while planning her wedding and decided it was time for a career change. Next to writing, Mahdis’ other passion has always been fashion and having a keen eye for style. She also has years of retail and customer service experience and is deeply passionate about helping people.
Charlie - Office Coordinator
Charlie is dedicated and passionate about every detail of the wedding world, from sketching bridal gowns as a child to now ensuring every couple’s special day is nothing short of perfect. With years of experience in bridal and event coordination, she loves being behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly. In her free time, Charlie enjoys reading, spending quality time with her dog and family, and hunting for one-of-a-kind vintage finds. A lover of all things bridal, Charlie feels incredibly lucky to be part of the wedding industry, helping to create magical moments for every couple.
Brynn - Bridal Consultant
Brynn is the enthusiastic Bridal Consultant who thrives on making people feel happy and confident, which originally inspired her to become a bridal stylist. In her free time, she loves reading romance and sci-fi novels and spending time with her toddler. Brynn has a keen eye for vintage items, with her own wedding featuring a collection of these treasures. She has an eclectic taste in homewares, decorations, and knickknacks, reflecting her unique style. Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Brynn has also taken art classes, with art history and graphic design being her favorites. An animal lover and vegetarian, Brynn's compassion and creativity shine through in all aspects of her life.
Madeline - Marketing Coordinator & Bridal Consultant
Madeline is a fun-spirited professional who aims to make her career her priority, but also enjoys the little things. With a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Management, she uses her styling skills to guide brides towards a wedding gown that looks best. Madeline has over 6 years of styling experience working with women who want to feel and look their best. Bridal is her latest venture! In her free time, she likes to create art through drawing and painting, and hopes to design a bridal collection of her own in the near future.
Rachel - Bridal Concierge
Rachel, with a life-long passion for fashion, is drawn to the elegance of vintage styles and iconic collections. Known for her impeccable style, she brings a timeless flair to The Bridal Room. When she’s not assisting brides, Rachel enjoys solving crosswords, going for runs, and watching movies. A true lover of classic cinema, she finds inspiration in films, appreciating the artistry and beauty they capture. Rachel hopes to dive deeper into the bridal world, help brides find their perfect gown, and expand her fashion knowledge in the process.
Bushra - Bridal Consultant
Bushra, a California native, has always had a deep passion for fashion, particularly events like the Met Gala and other red carpet occasions. With a keen interest in horoscopes, beauty, and spirituality, she incorporates these elements into her everyday life. Bushra enjoys practicing yoga, meditation, and exploring psychology to maintain a balanced and mindful lifestyle. A true foodie at heart, she loves cooking, especially creating dishes with dough made from scratch. Her diverse interests and dedication to both inner and outer beauty make her a well-rounded and inspiring individual.
Gabby - Bridal Consultant
Gabby, with her Fashion Merchandising degree, is a fond follower of fashion trends, who hopes to one day own her own bridal boutique. She looks forward to each day when she can connect with a bride and help them find their dream dress. In her free time, she enjoys watching thriller movies, painting with watercolors, and playing tennis. Gabby has a passion for singing and dancing, especially with her friends, and radiates good vibes to everyone that surrounds her. Her vibrant personality and commitment to her craft make every bridal appointment a special and unforgettable experience.
